Melinda founded KloudVentures, a think-tank and consultancy, to solve business and technical problems focused on new ideas. She harnesses her own experiences to helps solve business growth and implementation challenges for others, especially startups. So, what are her top tips for building and retaining a great team?
- As a startup, it’s not enough to have a great product or idea, your team needs to be a cohesive unit that collaborates well.
- When building out your organization, decide as a team how to solve for the current gaps and go from there.
- Don’t underestimate the power of developing a company culture; it’s never too soon to think about it.
- Learn by example; from what you do and don’t want to do.
